About the Company
Acme Site Work was started in 1955 by Alexander “Sandy” Yacovone. With one dump truck and just a few hand tools, he began his business. At first, Sandy took on some small paving projects, but as time went on the projects grew larger and larger. It was evident, at that time, that a small reliable paving company was needed in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. Although Acme Site Work still continues to pave many small projects its fleet of equipment continues to grow. Acme is fully able to tackle any type of site preparation and paving project from the smallest patch job to the largest commercial parking lot in western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut.
Having up to date and reliable trucks and paving equipment is only half of the equation. The other half is the manpower. Acme Site Work is proud to say that it employs some of the most highly trained and experienced men and women who can handle any demanding paving project.
Nicholas Yacovone is the owner of Acme Site Work, while Amy Yacovone (Nicks Wife) holds the position of office manager. The Corporation is a family owned and operated third generation business that you can trust and count on for the personal and reliable service that you deserve.
