After more than 30 years as a licensed general contractor, business owner, and professional in the construction and outdoor service industries, I've come to realize that one of the biggest challenges homeowners face isn't the project itself—it's knowing who to hire.

Throughout my career, I've been asked the same question thousands of times.

Whether it was a roofer, landscaper, fence company, excavation contractor, patio installer, irrigation company, tree service, or another trade, people were always looking for someone they could trust to point them in the right direction.

Those conversations never really stopped.
